SPFP Redevelopment

The Work Is Underway on the Redevelopment Plan for Stony Point Fashion Park and Phase One Includes the Area Near Alchemists!
Last Fall, Starwood Retail Partners, the owners of Stony Point Fashion Park, announced a $50 million center redevelopment plan for the Center. The plans include enhanced contemporary common areas, improved accessibility for pedestrians and vehicles, unique shopping and entertainment experiences, new world-class shops and restaurants, and much more.
Now, progress has begun with Phase One, which includes upgrades and modernization of the common areas from Panera Bread to Tiffany & Co.
Plans and enhancements for this area include:
  • A new green space that will be known as Triangle Park, designed as a destination to enjoy community programs and entertainment, or to simply relax and re-energize with family and friends.
  • Fire pits and heated seating areas outside the Saks entrance.
  • A new play area next to the Pop Jet Fountain.
  • A new dog park in the grassy area outside of Panera Bread.
We are so excited to see that work has begun. The first action is the demolition of the three directional monuments between Saks and Dick's. Sporting Goods. And the white kiosk building outside the management offices has just been taken down. This improves the sightlines between the shops and makes space for the improvements to come.
Stay tuned for progress reports on this exciting work!
